Widler Architecture is seeking an Architect or Architectural Designer with 4 to 8 years of professional experience to join our growing, design-focused studio in Downers Grove, Illinois.

This is a part-time position with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role as our firm continues to expand.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about thoughtful design, enjoys working collaboratively in a small studio environment, and wants meaningful involvement in every phase of a project. At Widler Architecture, every team member has the opportunity to contribute ideas, build strong client relationships, and help shape exceptional residential architecture.

If you’re looking for a collaborative studio where your work matters and you can continue to grow professionally, we’d love to hear from you.

  • Experience coordinating with structural, civil, and MEP consultants.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects in a collaborative studio environment.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to producing high-quality work.
  • Architectural licensure or progress toward licensure is preferred, but not required.

Benefits:

  • Continuing education reimbursement.
  • SIMPLE IRA retirement plan with a company match.
  • Opportunity for professional growth and advancement as the firm continues to expand.
