Architectural Designer

Candidates should have experience in residential, new construction, addition, gut rehab, and small and medium commercial projects. Candidates should also be able to research and understand required building Codes. Effective communication skills along with a strong work ethic and a collaborator mentality are necessities. The ability to keep up with a demanding environment while maintaining attention to detail is critical. A working knowledge of Revit is needed, and familiarity with Photoshop and AutoCAD is beneficial. PRIMARY FUNCTION(S) Provide support during the development of design and technical systems for projects from schematics through construction administration. Ideal candidates should have solid design skills with the ability to model design ideas in Revit and create representative diagrams/visualizations using Enscape and Adobe Creative Suite. TYPICAL DUTIES Perform design duties as directed by the project team leader. Assist through all phases of the project with an emphasis on Design, from concept through CD. Prepare and participate in client presentations. Support the discipline team leader in the documentation process. Support the development of building system concepts for projects. Attending project meetings when requested. Perform other project-related tasks as assigned by the discipline team leader. Perform other duties as delegated by the supervisor.
