Project types focus on dwelling and working environments:

  • Mixed use: commercial + multifamily
  • Commercial office
  • Residential: single and multifamily
  • Neighborhood development in black and brown communities

Seeking talented, creative, and diligent individuals who take pride in:

  • Understanding and responding to the client’s communication style
  • Designing solutions that are client centric
  • Utilizing design as a transformative tool
  • Merging technical and creative aspects of design
  • Giving equal attention to small and large projects alike, understanding that all contribute to the whole
  • Navigating a range of budgets, modest-to-extravagant
  • Blending design disciplines such as architecture, interior design, visual arts, and urban planning
  • Contributing to projects from inception to post occupancy evaluation
  • Working collaboratively with internal and external teams
  • Approaching every task with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Operating with integrity, enthusiasm, and diligence

Applicant Requirements

Strong work ethic accompanied with:

  • Professional degree in architecture
  • Minimum 6 years full-time relevant professional experience
  • Revit proficiency (required)
  • Comfort with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Word/Excel (expected)
  • Clear communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Critical thinking skills and professional curiosity
  • Ability to work autonomously and proactively problem-solve
  • Comfort with both leading and following
  • Ability to produce thoroughly complete documents, drawings, packages, and presentations, both individually and in team environments
  • Strong analytical skills in application to project delivery process, budgets, and schedules
  • Chicago home base (preferred), or willingness to travel weekly as needed
