The ideal candidate should be interested in contributing to all aspects of the design process from conceptual design, sustainability and building performance, to the construction phase. Candidates should have a experience in working from a concept design down to the development of the critical details that become distinguishing features in a project. The firms work ranges from Mixed-Use, Multifamily, education, retail, office, healthcare and Adaptive Reuse Developments.
Candidates should have between about 5-20 years of experience (salary commensurate with experience).
The ideal candidate should have specific experience in design, engineering coordination, construction documentation, permitting and construction administration. Candidates should possess expert knowledge of construction materials and standards, as well as advanced knowledge of building codes and zoning ordinances. Experience in multi-family and mixed-use projects is a big plus.
Additional Requirements:
- Bachelor of Architecture degree or Master’s degree in Architecture
- Registered architect, or actively pursuing professional architectural licensure
- Capable of working in a fast paced and collaborative environment
- Ability to take initiative and be pro-active
- Willingness to be flexible and manage multiple responsibilities
