Applicant Requirements
Qualifications We Seek:
- Minimum of five years of professional experience in interior architecture, showcasing your ability to handle diverse projects
- Background and knowledge of residential kitchen design at the luxury level, a plus
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, enabling you to create detailed and accurate design drawings
- Thorough understanding of the residential design project process, including planning and execution phases
- Exceptional communication skills, combined with sound judgment and teamwork abilities
- A proactive attitude, with the ability to pivot and adjust strategies as projects evolve
- Strong problem-solving skills that empower you to develop innovative solutions when challenges arise
- A collaborative spirit that encourages working closely with multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with high-end fixtures, appliances, and hardware, especially in the realm of kitchen and bathroom design
- Knowledge of millwork along with custom wood and metal components
- Creation of project drawings and specifications that clearly articulate design intent and technical requirements
- Managing projects efficiently from inception to completion, overseeing product selection, material procurement, and installation logistics
- Conducting thorough site visits and inspections, collaborating closely with general contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality control and adherence to design specifications
- Working in partnership with other professionals, including architects, interior designers, and artisans throughout the project lifecycle
- Communicating effectively with vendors to manage the production process, ensuring that all materials arrive on schedule
