Tom Godinez, Student AIA Chicago

Tom is in his final year of the Master of Architecture program at the University of Illinois at Chicago. After completing his undergraduate studies at UIUC, he worked in two different architecture offices for a few years before returning to school. This background in practice has been imperative in helping him root his current creative explorations in providing universally understandable architecture. Tom’s focus revolves around the public realm and how architecture’s impact extends far beyond its physical footprint.
