Mai Sano, Student AIA Chicago

Mai is in her last year at the Illinois Institute of Technology pursuing a Bachelor of Architecture degree, specializing in Architectural History and Theory, Design/Build, and Digital Design. She was born in Japan and grew up in multiple different countries. Through her life of traveling, she has looked at various architecture and experienced diverse cultures and lifestyles in different parts of the world which allowed her to expand her perspectives. Currently, she serve as the chapter president of IIT AIAS.
