Jessie LaFree, AIA, NCARB, is the principal and founder of Free Architecture and Design in Hyde Park, a firm focusing on single-family residential and historic renovation projects. She is also a lecturer in the architecture department at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Jessie is passionate about building and motivating the next generation of architects and has served in numerous mentorship and advisory roles, including as a co-chair of AIA Chicago’s Bridge Program and a board member of the Architecture Foundation of Illinois.
