Dawn is a founding Partner of Threshold Acoustics. She has a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of City and Regional Planning from Illinois Institute of Technology. Interest in music lead her to pursue the field of acoustics, which began at Kirkegaard Associates in 1992. She has served on the AIA Chicago Board, including as President, and Chair of the AIA Interfaith Forum on Religion, Art, and Architecture (IFRAA). She has taught and guest lectures for the IIT College of Architecture at IIT and served on the IIT Alumni Board.
