Our Marketing Manager will play an essential role in keeping WJW visible and organized. Reporting to the Business Director and Partners, and working alongside our Office Manager, this position balances creative marketing support with high-level administrative work, helping ensure that how we present ourselves to the world is as thoughtfully executed as our architecture. The ideal candidate is a strong visual communicator with sharp organizational instincts and the ability to manage multiple priorities with care and follow-through.

This is a hybrid position with expectation for in-office work on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and optional work from home on Monday and Friday each week. The position is flexible on total hours worked per week, ranging from 30-40 hours per week pending applicant availability.

Areas of Responsibility

Marketing

  • Create and produce digital and print marketing materials, including project pages, presentations, resumes, advertisements, proposal responses, and other firm collateral, using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
  • Working with our 3rd party website design consultants, spearhead an update of WJW’s website beginning in the 4th quarter of 2026, including content revisions as well as organizational and navigational updates.
  • Using WordPress, maintain and upgrade WJW’s website on an ongoing basis, including adding project content, news, and team updates in a timely manner.
  • Manage WJW’s social media presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, developing a social media strategy that reflects the firm’s values and project work.
  • Creation of social media content for implementation across all platforms in collaboration with the Office Manager, Partners and Project Mangers.
  • Research, track, and prepare award submissions, including coordinating project narratives, images, and supporting materials to meet deadlines.
  • Coordinate photo shoots for newly completed projects with photographers, Partners and Project Managers. Attendance at photoshoots as required.
  • Maintain an organized library of marketing assets, project photography, renderings, proposals and renderings.
  • Support the Business Director and Partners on creation of business development materials and special marketing initiatives as needed.
  • Attend networking and marketing events on behalf of the firm as needed.

Administrative

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Business Director and Partners, including preparation of materials for meetings and presentations.
  • Research and compile information in support of strategic initiatives, business development, and special projects.
  • Organize and maintain marketing materials, project portfolios, and digital files, including ongoing stewardship of the firm’s file server.
  • Maintain master office lists and key marketing tracking documents, keeping the firm organized and prepared.
  • Support business license renewals, insurance policy coordination, and professional continuing education tracking alongside the Business Director and Office Manager.
  • Provide occasional support for office operations when Office Manager is unavailable.
  • Additional administrative tasks in support of office operations as directed by the Business Director or Partners.

Applicant Requirements

Qualifications

Interested candidates should have the following skills and experience level:

  • Four-year degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a marketing or administrative support role, ideally in a professional services or design environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva required; WordPress experience required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace required.
  • Strong visual sensibility and ability to produce polished, on-brand materials.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and approachable presence.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
  • Self-motivated, with a demonstrated penchant for ownership and follow-through.

Compensation and Work Environment

  • Hourly rate ranging from $29 – $42 per hour dependent on experience level.
