We are seeking a talented, motivated individual who has completed an architecture degree, and is eager to learn about sustainable architecture in one of Chicago's leading firms. This position reports to the Principal and Project Manager, and is responsible for developing project drawings and specifications, coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors, researching zoning and building codes, and construction contract administration. Our studio atmosphere and project and CAD standards provide great support for onboarding and ongoing employees, and offer a great learning opportunity for emerging professionals. The office is one block from the CTA Blue Line in Oak Park Arts District.
Applicant Requirements
Professional degree in architecture, 1-3 years’ experience, excellent design and graphic ability (hand and digital,) highly proficient in ArchiCad (preferred) or Revit, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and commitment to sustainability. Experience on projects in a small firm environment preferred. While you work as an integral part of our team, initiative and contribution are essential.
