SPAAN Tech is seeking a motivated Intern Architect to join our Architecture Department and assist with our growing list of projects. This entry-level position offers the chance to develop a variety of skills in our fast-paced Loop office, working under the supervision of licensed architects and engineers. No experience is necessary—bring your passion and eagerness to learn. What You’ll Be Doing at SPAAN Tech: - Design and Drafting: Produce sketches and drawings for presentations, permits, and construction. See your work in action on real projects. - Field Documentation: Assist with documenting field conditions and taking measurements at project sites, gaining hands-on experience beyond the desk. - Code Research: Conduct building and zoning code research to support project planning and development. - Construction Administration: Support tasks such as reviewing product samples and shop drawings, contributing to the construction process from start to finish. - Meeting Participation: Record minutes during project meetings with clients and consultants, learning how to manage key project discussions. - Marketing Assistance: Collaborate with the Marketing Department on applications and presentations, gaining exposure to different facets of SPAAN Tech's operations.
