O’Kelly Kasprak (OKK) is seeking an Architectural Designer to join our collaborative studio in Chicago’s West Loop.
This role offers the opportunity to work across all phases of design on a diverse portfolio of projects, with a primary focus on hospitality and aviation environments. At OKK, architecture and interior design are deeply integrated—our teams work fluidly across disciplines to create cohesive, experience-driven spaces.
As part of a hands-on, design-focused studio, you will contribute to everything from early concept development through construction documentation, including modeling, visualization, and presentation work—all produced in-house.
We are a tight-knit, design-driven team that values curiosity, creativity, and a strong sense of ownership. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow into a well-rounded designer with exposure to both architecture and interiors.
What You’ll Do
- Contribute to design development across multiple project types, primarily in hospitality and aviation
- Support all project phases, from concept through construction documentation
- Produce drawings, models, and presentation materials
- Collaborate closely with both architecture and interior design teams
- Participate in client presentations and internal design discussions
- Help maintain project organization across multiple active assignments
Applicant Requirements
- Professional degree in Architecture
- 3-8 years of experience in a design firm environment
- Proficiency in: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Self-motivated with a collaborative mindset
