Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of architectural principles and practices across a diverse range of projects and related fields. They will have a proven track record of coordinating construction documents effectively and be able to work independently, demonstrating expertise in architectural methods and complexities.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Architect, your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Scope Management: Review, coordinate, and implement project scopes of services.
- Construction Documents: Produce comprehensive construction documents, primarily utilizing Autodesk Revit.
- Quality Assurance: Take responsibility for finished plans and specifications, ensuring high-quality materials and construction practices.
- Code Compliance: Prepare and/or supervise code analysis to ensure all projects adhere to relevant regulations.
- Specifications: Prepare and/or supervise the production of project specifications.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance and supervision to junior architects, architectural designers, and interns.
- Project Planning: Develop work schedules and set priorities for project activities.
- Collaboration: Coordinate closely with engineers and specialty consultants to achieve project goals.
- Problem Solving: Present innovative solutions for unforeseen challenges that may arise during the project.
- Project Monitoring: Monitor project progress and implement work schedules to ensure timely completion.
Applicant Requirements
Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of ten years of architectural experience is required.
- Education: A graduate of an accredited architecture school with a Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree and a valid license, preferably in Washington State.

We currently have offices in Chicago, Dallas, and central Illinois. This position will be based in Chicago, while working on projects in the Seattle, Dallas, and Chicago Areas, and beyond.
