We are seeking an Licensed Architect with 5-10 years of professional experience in the residential architectural field. Our firm is a prominent, award-winning high-end residential design / build firm based in Lakeview.
If you are intrigued by the opportunity to see your projects become built spaces while leading an in-house team of architects and interior designers we would love to meet with you. Our development and design / build process provides a unique experience beyond the typical architectural office including coordination of site issues with outside trades and extensive client management. This position offers a seasoned professional the potential to run the entire design and construction experience.
Applicant Requirements
What we are looking for:
Experience: 5-10 year’s experience with residential oriented architectural design firm. An ideal candidate will be comfortable leading all phases of design, documentation and project management.
License: Licensed in the State of Illinois. Ideally a candidate will have Self-Certification status in the City of Chicago or be open to quickly obtaining such designation.
Design Talent: Proven design skills in all aspects of residential design and all styles of design. A keen eye for proportion and ability to conceptualize and create livable living spaces is most important.
Technical skills: Working in Revit should be second nature.
Team Spirit: A collaborative approach and willingness to learn our approach to residential design build is essential.
