Compass Architecture is searching for a licensed architect with 7+ years of experience in residential design. We are a client-service oriented firm that focuses on residential projects of various sizes in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.
As a Project Architect, you will engage in all aspects of residential projects, including design, production of construction documents, schedule management and client communications. Initially, the focus of this position is to either work with our developer clients on multi-unit and mixed-use buildings or work with home owners on their home projects.

Job Accountabilities:
- Develop presentation floor plans and elevations in AutoCAD.
- Preparation of construction documents.
- Follow CAD and Office standards.
- Preparation and modification of architectural documents, elevations, sections, and details.
- Performs administrative support responsibilities as requested.
- Strong commitment to personal growth and learning, while sharing to help the entire team.
- Professional Degree (BA) in Architecture from an accredited program.
- Proficiency in SketchUp and AutoCAD
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively meet deadlines in a fast-paced studio and excel in a team environment.
- A self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills.
