2023

Presented by AIA Chicago, Designight is the premier architectural celebration of the year, held on an annual basis. This event celebrates the global design achievements of AIA Chicago members, and administeres awards for projects of all scales. This event is open to all.

All are welcome to attend. Entire firms, clients, project partners, family members, and friends!

Children are welcome to attend the Awards Ceremony, but we recommend the After Party be adult-only.

There are two tickets and they are only purchased separately.

The Awards Ceremony is a $10 ticket price per-person, and can be purchased through Harris Theater for Music and Dance.

The After Party is a $285 early bird ticket, with prices increasing to $300 on September 1, and can be purchased through AIA Chicago.

The lobby of the Harris Theater for Music and Dance open at 5:00pm, with doors to the theater opening at 5:30pm. The Awards Ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00pm.

The After Party begins at 7:30pm.

How Do I Access the Harris Theater?
The Harris Theater lobby entrance is located at 205 East Randolph Street on upper Randolph (street level). If you park in the Millennium Park Garage, please take the parking garage elevators to the street level (Level 7) of the garage, exit, and take a left on Randolph to enter through our street level doors at 205 East Randolph. We recommend dropping off any members of your party with limited mobility at the street level entrance before parking.

Where Can I Find Directions to The Harris Theater?
Directions to the Harris Theater via public transportation, car, bike, or on foot are available on the Harris Theater Directions and Parking page.

Can I Easily Find a Taxi or Get a Rideshare from The Theater?
The theater location near Michigan Avenue ensures that you will find taxis with relative ease. There is also a taxi stand across the street from the Harris Theater in front of the Aon Center.

Rideshares should have no problem locating the venue at 205 East Randolph.

Yes, assisted listening devices will be available on Level 1 of the Harris Theater for Music and Dance.

Awards Ceremony

All seating for the Awards Ceremony is chosen by you, the guest, when you purchase your ticket. Trading or swapping seats will not be available.

To find your seat, view a complete seat map of the Harris Theater. This map indicates wheelchair-accessible seats, companion seats, swing arm seats, and step counts to access each row in our house. After Party

The After Party has no assigned seating and is standing room with a few lounge areas.

We ask that our guests avoid bringing unnecessary items to the Theater. The following items are prohibited inside the theater: briefcases, backpacks, luggage of any kind, computer and camera bags, containers, packages, or any purses and bags larger than 12" x 6" x 12".

No. Personal food and beverage are strictly prohibited. Beverages will be made available for sale one hour before the Awards Ceremony at the Harris Theater.

Those attending the After Party will be provided complementary beverages and heavy hors d'oeuvres.
