AIA (National) Annual Meeting Delegate

The total time commitment for being a delegate is less than five hours total.

As one of the largest chapters in the nation, AIA Chicago is permitted to have 186 delegates representing the chapter at the national level. Becoming a delegate is an exciting way to shape the ideas and issues that matter most to our profession. Volunteer delegates vote on behalf of our local members on issues including:

• Candidates for national officers on the AIA Board of Directors
• Resolutions and amendments to the national bylaws

AIA, FAIA, Emeritus, and Associate AIA members of AIA Chicago in good standing are eligible to serve as delegates.

You must be able to attend both sessions to vote, either in-person at A'23 in San Francisco, or virtually. See sidebar Timeline for details.
