Volunteer for National Rebuilding Together Day

Join the Community Engagement Affinity Group and Rebuilding Together Metro Chicago for a day of home repairs in Blue Island, Illinois.

This year, we will be updating the home of Ms. Santiago, a 76-year old resident of Blue Island. Volunteers will patch and paint walls, repair doors, install grab bars, reseal doors and windows, remove clutter, and more. No skills needed. Bring work gloves and tools if you have them.

The address of Ms. Santiago’s home in Blue Island will be provided later, and bus transportation from a designated location will be available as well if you prefer not to drive.

We are looking for general volunteers as well a runner and a home ambassador for the day of the event.
