Discover how Howard Brown Health is redefining community-centered care with its new 91,000-square-foot flagship facility in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood. Designed by Eckenhoff Saunders, the five-level center brings primary care, behavioral health, oral health, laboratory services, financial assistance, and pharmacy care together under one roof — creating a welcoming, equitable, and affirming patient experience for the LGBTQ+ community and beyond. 

This presentation and tour will highlight the collaboration between the owner, design team, and construction partners to deliver an inclusive, sustainable, and regulatory-compliant healthcare environment. Attendees will learn how the building’s planning, circulation, privacy strategies, and flexible amenity spaces — including a rooftop terrace — support holistic patient care, community engagement, and operational efficiency.
