Building Together: Awards Program & Holiday Open House

We are excited to announce this year’s plans for a very special free two-part holiday gathering with the seven architecture member-based organizations in Chicago: AIA Chicago, the AIA Chicago Foundation, Arquitectos, Arquitina, the Chicago Architecture Center (CAC), Chicago Women in Architecture (CWA), and the Illinois Chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects (I-NOMA).

Part I: Building Together Awards Program (5:30pm – 6:45pm)
Chicago Architecture Center’s Lecture Hall – Space limited
Celebrate with each organization as they recognize award recipients and other honorees. AIA Chicago Foundation will recognize student design awards and scholarship winners. The AIA Chicago chapter will honor the 2023 Distinguished Service and Presidential Citation award winners (announced soon!).

Part II: Free Holiday Open House (6:30pm – 8:30pm)
Chicago Architecture Center’s Galleries
All are welcome! Enjoy holiday cookies and hot cocoa and mingle with other professionals from across the architecture, engineering, construction, and supplier/consultant fields. Visit CAC’s special ARCHETYPE’S Pop-Up Shop, view the winners of the Lerch Bates People’s Choice Awards, and explore Reframed: The Future of Cities in Wood exhibition before it closes.
