Chief Andrew Isaac Health Center Expansion
Fairbanks, Alaska

The project involves the addition and expansion of the Chief Andrew Isaac Health Center (CAIHC), which provides healthcare services to the 42 tribes of the indigenous Tanana Athabaskan people of Alaska. The Tanana Chiefs Conference (TCC), a tribal consortium in central Alaska, undertook the expansion of CAIHC to enhance the range of services offered, including Radiation Oncology, Radiology, Specialty Services, and Urgent Care clinics. A key factor in the project's success was the collaboration and incorporation of TCC culture and heritage throughout the planning and design process.
