160 Front, a 236-meter-tall office tower, aims to redefine expectations for workplace projects in their approach to experience, sustainability, and carbon reduction. Located in downtown Toronto, the tower contributes to the iconic skyline, while introducing public spaces that encourage interactions with nature and art. The “peel” of the sawtooth facade reveals the integrated heritage building and shapes a distinct approach to the designed interconnections of new towers and historic structures. Every aspect of the design performs as a holistic system to reduce energy consumption, life-cycle carbon emissions and environmental impacts, achieving LEED Platinum and WELL Certified status.
